When you look into black seed & ancient cultures/beliefs, it spans across the Middle East. In Arabic cultures, black cumin is known as the “seed of blessing.” It is also believed that the Islamic prophet Mohammed said of it that it is “a remedy for all diseases except death.” There is a statement from a website focused on “green medicine”, or healthier ways of living that says, The time, no doubt, has come for food, seeds, herbs, plants, sunlight, air, clean water, and yes, love, to assume once again their central place in medicine, which is to say, the art and science of facilitating self-healing within the human body.” This statement is very true in that if you do research on non-pharmaceutical ways to help & heal various health or medical issues, you find more and more products from nature that not only are beneficial, but have been used for centuries. Some even go as far back as biblical days. There are many who believe that if we start studying more natural, “homeopathic” ways to heal & help people, we will not only save billions of dollars on health issues caused from prescription medicines, but people may have better hope in healing, health, and living purer lives.
